I graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Southampton. Prior to this degree I obtained an honours degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Bath.
Since graduating I have pursued my interests in sports medicine, out-patients, elderly care and neurology by attending post graduate courses and seminars in Golf Athlete Training, MacKenzie Therapy, Kinetic Control, Acupuncture, Falls Prevention and Bobath Therapy.
In joining Pembrey Physiotherapy Clinic my special interest was to establish close links with local golf clubs and leisure centres in order to provide advice to individuals and to trainers on injury prevention (pre-habilitation). Many people in an effort to improve their health take up sports / exercise without the necessary flexibility, core stability or joint control. In essence, they try to build their temple without proper foundations!
